About this role

This role leads complex hardware new product introduction (NPI) programs with contract manufacturers to meet street date and channel fill needs. You will drive manufacturing readiness and manage execution through key development phases (Proto, EVT, DVT, PVT), coordinating closely with engineering and materials teams.

Key Responsibilities

Drive manufacturing readiness across all development phases
Drive factory execution and yield management to meet channel fill requirements and street dates
Own risk assessment and mitigation strategies and optimize manufacturing costs
Coordinate materials readiness (CTB status and risk-buy decisions) for PVT
Drive BOM readiness and validation aligned with engineering changes and manufacturing requirements

Technical Overview

The technical/operations scope is program execution for hardware development lifecycle phases: Proto, EVT, DVT, PVT, then transition to sustaining operations. Focus includes manufacturing readiness, factory execution, yield management, and coordination of materials readiness (CTB status, risk-buy) and BOM readiness/validation across build phases.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior NPI operations program manager with deep experience leading complex hardware development programs from Proto through PVT and into sustaining operations. They are strong in manufacturing readiness, factory execution, and yield management, and can partner effectively with engineering program managers and materials leads to deliver units that meet street date and channel fill requirements.
