About this role
Sr Nuclear Instructor - Engineering coordinates and manages nuclear training program requirements, including curriculum review committee support, corrective action resolution, and maintenance of training documentation. The role develops and presents nuclear training materials consistent with the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT).
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate training program requirements and schedule committee meetings; Develop meeting agendas and present supporting training data; Assign and track action items and identify training program problems; Develop and implement resolutions to complex nuclear training program corrective actions; Maintain training program documentation and create SAT-aligned training materials (Lesson Plans, JPM, simulator and lab guides, workbooks)
Technical Overview
Owns nuclear training program operations and documentation, including meeting coordination, tracking action items, and implementing corrective actions for complex training program improvement items. Produces and presents SAT-aligned training materials such as Lesson Plans, Lesson Notes, Job Performance Measures (JPM), Laboratory Guides, Simulator Guides, and Workbooks.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior nuclear training professional with at least 6 years of instructional or applicable department experience. They are strong in written and verbal communication, procedure compliance, and can manage nuclear training program requirements using the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) and associated training materials.
