About this role
Responsible for senior operations project management within Textron Systems Electronic Systems, supporting hardware and software customers globally. Owns inventory, sourcing, production, testing through delivery, and leads planning and program oversight including P&L and budget/schedule performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrating the TSES Business Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and annual inventory forecasts
- Overseeing product inventory, sourcing, production, and testing up to delivery
- Interacting with Integrated Supply chain and developing/executing Long-Term Agreements
- Providing profit and loss oversight and meeting program budget/delivery schedules
- Leading material and product end of life acquisitions and liquidation strategies
Technical Overview
The role focuses on program execution and operational planning using ERP databases and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project). It emphasizes inventory forecasting, end-of-life acquisition planning, and agreement development with suppliers.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior operations-focused project manager with 5+ years of directly related experience managing operations projects. They have strong program management skills, are comfortable with ERP databases and Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and can lead cross-functional efforts across supply chain and inventory planning. They also have a track record of meeting budget and delivery schedules and are able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
