About this role

Constellation is seeking a Sr Ops Training Instructor responsible for developing and maintaining plant specific nuclear licensed Operations training programs. The role coordinates and conducts performance-based Reactor Operator (RO) and Non-Licensed Operator (NLO) training using a systematic approach to training and ensures programs incorporate INPO, Constellation, and NRC event learnings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and conduct performance-based Reactor Operator (RO)/Non-Licensed Operator (NLO) training programs
  • Develop and propose modifications to plant specific nuclear licensed Operations training programs
  • Maintain training programs current and incorporate INPO Significant Operating Experience Reports, Constellation Nuclear Event Reports (NERs), and NRC Bulletins/Information Notices
  • Drive clean energy center (CEC) and personnel performance improvement through training
  • Apply analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases

Technical Overview

This is training program engineering for nuclear operations, using a systematic approach to training model across analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Training content must be updated with Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) Significant Operating Experience Reports, Constellation Nuclear Event Reports (NERs), and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Bulletins and Information Notices.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior operations training professional with deep subject matter knowledge in plant specific nuclear licensed Operations training programs. They can apply a systematic approach to training model to analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate Reactor Operator (RO) and Non-Licensed Operator (NLO) programs, while keeping content current using INPO Significant Operating Experience Reports, Constellation Nuclear Event Reports (NERs), and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Bulletins and Information Notices.
