About this role
Full-time Sr Phlebotomist position (9am to 7:30pm) supporting Lakewood Ranch Medical Center by obtaining and assisting with processing laboratory specimens. The role includes LIS/computer operations and clerical functions, with strong communication and customer service skills.

- Performs LIS / computer operations and clerical functions as needed.
- Obtains and/or assists in the processing of laboratory specimens to facilitate the production of quality results.
- Demonstrates current skills in the required areas.
Technical Overview
The technical scope focuses on phlebotomy and specimen processing workflows, supported by LIS (Laboratory Information System) and basic computer proficiency. No additional software beyond LIS is specified.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior phlebotomist with 2+ years of active phlebotomy experience and a Phlebotomy Certificate from an accredited program. They also hold a National Certification from ASCP, AMT, ASPT, or NCA and are comfortable using LIS / computer operations plus performing specimen processing and clerical functions.
