About this role
This contract role seeks a Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate an enterprise pro-code AI Agent Platform on Azure. You will focus on automation with Terraform and CI/CD, security and compliance controls, and reliability/observability for ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and operate the enterprise pro-code AI agent platform on Azure including Foundry integrations
- Automate Azure environments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Implement security and compliance controls (RBAC, VNets/NSGs, encryption, Azure Policy) and support audits
- Operationalize Microsoft Foundry and AI/ML services, including runbooks and SDK/CLI patterns
- Build observability (monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting) and reliability practices (SLOs/SLAs, incident response, autoscaling)
Technical Overview
The platform is built on Microsoft Azure with security and governance controls including RBAC, VNets/NSGs, encryption in transit and at rest, and Azure Policy. The role emphasizes Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and production readiness using monitoring/logging/tracing, alerting, SLOs/SLAs, and incident response.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior platform engineer with 3+ years building and operating enterprise cloud platforms on Microsoft Azure. They have hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and security/compliance implementation (RBAC, VNets/NSGs, encryption, Azure Policy) plus strong reliability and observability practices (monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, SLOs/SLAs).
