Position Details
About this role
The Epic Bridges Analyst III serves as the primary architect and SME for the Epic interoperability landscape. This role leads complex interface projects, establishes technical standards, and mentors other analysts while ensuring KPI uptime for mission-critical data exchanges and overseeing vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of complex interfaces, including bidirectional integrations, FHIR APIs, and cloud-based web services
- Drive the interface project lifecycle for enterprise-wide initiatives, including new hospital acquisitions or major module rollouts (Beaker, Willow)
- Serve as the final escalation point for Cloverleaf and Bridges engine errors; perform root-cause analysis
- Develop and maintain the Master Interface Spreadsheet and standard naming conventions; establish Best Practices for error handling and alerting
- Act as the primary liaison between clinical leadership, third-party vendors, and the Epic Technical Coordinator

Technical scope includes Epic Bridges, HL7, FHIR, EDI, XML; Cloverleaf engine; Beaker/Willow; UNIX familiarity; cloud integration (Azure/AWS); data standards; regulatory considerations.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior Epic Bridges Analyst with 10+ years of experience in Epic Bridges, HL7/FHIR/EDI/XML, and strong vendor management in healthcare IT.
