About this role
Senior Real Estate Counsel will lead origination and closing of renewable energy CRE assets in the US, manage deal pipelines, and advise on strategic transactions and commercial matters in a remote-capable environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading efforts to support origination and closing of renewable energy real estate assets in the United States
- Managing a pipeline of deals and facilitating dialogue between pricing, origination, legal, and management
- Negotiating and drafting documents for commercial real estate transactions
- Overseeing due diligence and underwriting for lease terms and cash flow
- Advising on strategic transactions and commercial matters
Technical Overview
Legal scope includes commercial real estate transactions, due diligence, underwriting, lease terms, and coordination with pricing and origination teams; JD and bar required.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced real estate attorney (6–12 years) with a Juris Doctor and bar admission, focused on renewable energy asset origination and closing, risk assessment, and cross-functional collaboration across pricing, origination, and management.
