Senior safety engineering role supporting AWS hardware engineering and design with a focus on health & safety program leadership and inherently safe design.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize knowledge of Health and Safety requirements to ensure safe products; work with DC Health & Safety, Hardware Eng & Design teams to implement Inherently Safe Design; provide H&S input during scoping; review schematics/designs for safety; perform preliminary design risk assessments
Technical Overview
Leads technical health & safety guidance across product design phases; ensures compliance with electrical and environmental regs; collaborates with Data Center Health and Safety teams and hardware design labs.

The ideal candidate is a senior-level health & safety engineer with 5+ years of product/program management experience, strong cross-functional collaboration with engineering teams, and a track record delivering inherently safe design programs across data centers and AWS facilities.
