About this role

The Sr SAP Analyst supports and facilitates SAP functions and projects by translating business requirements into SAP configuration and enhancements. The role partners with architects and business stakeholders, drives User Acceptance Testing success, and ensures alignment to global SAP templates, standards, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform gap analysis and functional design specification translation for SAP configuration and development
  • Support successful User Acceptance Testing with the user community
  • Provide FI/CO knowledge and guidance to Master Data Consultants and Change Management Experts
  • Configure, enhance, and optimize SAP modules to meet business requirements
  • Drive adherence to Mohawk SAP global solution template, standards, and best practices; resolve technical issues and lead after-action reviews

Technical Overview

This role is focused on SAP functional configuration and functional design, with strong technical exposure to ABAP and related SAP objects such as IDoc, ALV, SAPscript, smartforms, and LSMW. It also includes knowledge of SAP authorizations, SAP Netweaver, Java, OSS note implementation, and integration principles (EAI).

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior SAP Analyst with 4-6+ years of hands-on SAP functional and configuration experience, including gap analysis and translating business requirements into SAP functional design specifications. They have strong FI/CO knowledge and a technical background with ABAP and common SAP development objects (IDoc, ALV, SAPscript, smartforms, LSMW), plus experience supporting User Acceptance Testing and SAP standards/template adherence.
