About this role
Senior Software Development Engineer for AWS Agentic AI, building Bedrock AgentCore policy services and leading architectural decisions. Design scalable policy enforcement APIs, authoring capabilities, secure access controls, and operational observability, while mentoring other engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement core policy enforcement infrastructure including APIs, policy evaluation engines, and integration with gateway
- Build policy authoring and validation capabilities, including natural language-based policy generation and automated reasoning
- Develop fine-grained access control mechanisms
- Build monitoring, observability, and audit logging
- Drive technical strategy and architecture decisions; mentor engineers

Distributed systems in AI/ML context; policy evaluation engines; API gateways; natural language policy generation; automated reasoning; audit logging; cross-account access patterns; production reliability on AWS cloud infrastructure.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior software development engineer with 5+ years of experience, demonstrated leadership or tech lead experience, and a track record of delivering scalable policy-enabled services within AI/ML platforms on AWS.
