About this role
Amazon Leo is looking for a Sr. Siemens NX Application Engineer to develop and customize Siemens Teamcenter applications and build NXOpen tooling for satellite engineering workflows. You will also troubleshoot Teamcenter/NX issues, automate CAD workflows, and work on AWS-based application development using AWS API.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and customize Siemens Teamcenter applications to meet business requirements
- Design and implement Teamcenter data models, workflows, and integrations
- Troubleshoot Teamcenter and NX incidents; support plug-ins/add-ons using C#
- Work with the Teamcenter-NX integration including NX Manager, NX attribute mappings, and drawing template updates
- Develop NXOpen tools and automate CAD workflows
Technical Overview
Primary technical scope is Siemens PLM/PDM with Siemens Teamcenter and Siemens NX, including Teamcenter data models, workflows, and the Teamcenter-NX integration (NX Manager, NX attribute mappings, and site/drawing template updates). The role also requires C# scripting for plug-ins/add-ons and development of NXOpen tools, plus AWS Cloud development using AWS API and API/web services in multi-tier architectures.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior application engineer with 5+ years building and supporting Siemens Teamcenter and Siemens NX integrations. They have strong NXOpen and C# skills, experience troubleshooting Teamcenter client/server issues, and can automate CAD and PDM/PLM workflows while also building on Amazon Web Services using AWS API.
