About this role
Cribl is hiring a senior backend-focused Software Engineer to expand Cribl Search integrations with third-party providers. The role focuses on building distributed and federated search capabilities that query in-place operational data and aggregate results into a single experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with observability and resilience
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define project goals and acceptance criteria
- Define and refine software development practices
- Work on new features expanding Cribl Search integration with third-party providers
- Develop distributed and federated search across in-place data
Technical Overview
You will develop and optimize a system for distributed and federated search across heterogeneous data sources, including EBS volumes, Cribl Edge nodes, S3 buckets, Azure blob stores, containers, RDBMSes, data lakes, and custom datastores. Work includes performance optimization, observability-minded engineering, and integration development with external providers.
