Sr Software / Principal Software Engineer will contribute to cloud-native NMS development, with a focus on GoLang, Kubernetes, and security-oriented cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Conceptualize, collaborate and develop scalable cloud-native NMS
Lead design and end-to-end delivery with cross-functional teams
Improve quality and reliability of microservices
Work with DevOps for issue resolution and deployment
Mentor new team members

Technical Overview

Proficiency in GoLang, Kubernetes-based environments, Python, Linux, and Windows; experience with microservices, cloud-native architectures, and certificate lifecycle management

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior/principal software engineer with strong GoLang, Kubernetes, and cloud-native experience, plus Python and Linux/Linux-Stack expertise, to build scalable network management and security products in Santa Clara.

Must-Have Skills

6 or more years of experience in building large enterprise applications3 or more years experience in technical leadership roles in building major cloud native apps or subsystemsExperience developing in Kubernetes based environmentsExperience with Certificate Life Cycle managementExcellent programming skills in GoLang is a mustC is preferred and Python is a plusStrong fundamentals in object oriented designExperience with Test Driven Development and Continuous IntegrationExperience building microservice based solutions on public cloud infrastructureExperience building data management solutions with transactional data storesExperience with graph databasesExperience building network management & security configuration management systems
