About this role
Sr. Solutions Engineer will join FreeWheel's Marketplace Technical Operations team in NYC, acting as a strategic partner to programmatic stakeholders and ensuring accurate data and efficient operations across buy-side and sell-side databases.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational support for programmatic business
- Ensure the buy side & sell-side databases are accurately maintained through routine data validation, updates, and reconciliation
- Coordinate and maintain the incentive program discount order process
- Monitor SSP partner performance and investigate discrepancies
- Maintain and update seller blocklists for buyers
Technical Overview
Emphasizes OpenRTB knowledge, programmatic ecosystem, and analytics tooling (Looker, BI dashboards). Works with SSP/DSP, ORTB spec, and cross-functional teams in a technically complex advertising environment.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-to-senior solutions engineer with 3-5 years in ad tech, strong OpenRTB knowledge, and experience supporting buy-side and sell-side programs. They should be proficient in BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau) and data analytics, and able to collaborate with product, sales, and engineering teams.
