About this role
The Sr. Sourcing Analyst supports large-scale sourcing activities focused on cost reduction, consistent high-quality outcomes, and long-term supplier synergies. The role combines supplier engagement, data-driven feedback, and project leadership to improve material cost and quality while supporting new product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Seek new suppliers and cost saving opportunities through market awareness and negotiations
- Provide data-driven feedback on supplier performance
- Assist sourcing leadership with data gathering and analysis for key materials
- Lead material cost reduction and quality improvement projects with sourcing, production, and suppliers
- Forecast anticipated material consumption and support new product details setup in internal systems
Technical Overview
Performs purchasing data gathering and analysis to inform supplier decisions, including forecasting anticipated material consumption for external suppliers and internal finance coordination. Uses Microsoft Office Suite tools and maintains accurate setup of new product details within internal systems.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior sourcing analyst with 4-6 years of relevant procurement/sourcing experience and a strong track record of cost reduction and quality improvement. They are comfortable working with suppliers, using data to drive purchasing recommendations, and supporting new product development with technical attention to manufacturing processes.
Must-Have Skills
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.4-6 years' relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
