Senior Systems Analyst I supporting Pacific Life's Consumer Markets Division, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams to analyze needs, define requirements, and ensure high-quality, testable solutions delivered in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to analyze needs
- Translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with dev teams to ensure feasibility
- Document system behaviors and data flows
- Ensure traceability and quality across requirements and delivery
Technical Overview
Hands-on systems analysis with focus on APIs, data integrations, and cloud platforms (AWS). Works closely with Product Owners, developers, and QA to translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria, while maintaining traceability.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior systems analyst with 5+ years of experience in analytics/technology delivery, proficient in AWS and APIs, and skilled at translating business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria within an agile environment.
Must-Have Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer ScienceInformation SystemsEngineeringor a related fieldor equivalent experience.5+ years of experience in systems analysisbusiness analysisor technology delivery roles.Experience working closely with software development teams in an agile environment.Strong understanding of application workflowssystem integrationsand data-driven processes.Familiarity with APIsdata integrationsand modern application architectures.Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.Strong analyticalproblem-solvingand communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively within crossfunctional teams.
