About this role
Provide safety/technical training consulting across the company/enterprise as a Sr Technical Instructor. Develop and maintain training materials, design evaluation and testing instruments, and analyze feedback to improve program effectiveness. Support apprenticeship programs and continuing technical training while applying project management to training delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver training using a systematic approach and comply with records management requirements
- Design and maintain testing instruments and perform statistical analysis to evaluate training effectiveness
- Provide oversight and work direction for apprenticeship programs, continuing technical training, and instructional staff
- Consult with customers to identify business needs and objectives
- Apply Training Process Procedures and coordinate special projects

This role combines training design and measurable evaluation (including statistical analysis) with domain knowledge in instruments and control within a power plant setting. It uses structured training procedures, records management, and project management processes, supported by Microsoft Office to execute training and reporting tasks.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior technical instructor with 5+ years of training experience or equivalent technical experience, plus 2+ years working with instruments and control in a power plant setting. They will be able to consult and deliver training using systematic approaches to training and adult learning principles, while designing evaluation/testing instruments and performing statistical analysis. Strong communication, presentation skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required.
