About this role
Sr. Water Systems Engineer to lead water treatment and distribution design for AWS data centers, ensuring code compliance, effective collaboration across teams, and scalable design standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving improvement of design standards and project approaches across the organization
- Review concept designs with vendors to meet standards and AHJ requirements
- Provide high-quality water treatment advice and coordinate with global mechanical teams
- Manage RFI responses, value engineering, and submittal reviews
- Travel and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure compliant, scalable designs
Technical Overview
Expertise in data center mechanical/electrical systems, water treatment, AHJ interactions, and construction documentation; travel up to 25%.
Ideal Candidate
Senior data-center engineer with 6+ years in mechanical/electrical design for mission-critical facilities; PE license is preferred; strong knowledge of codes, construction docs, and water systems.
