About this role
Prepare monthly journal entries and perform account reconciliations for specified general ledger accounts. Support financial reporting and analysis, track capital spending and depreciation, help with internal/external audits, and contribute to internal controls and planning cycles.

- Track capital project spending, depreciation, and capital expenditure authorizations
- Support internal controls development, enhancement, and monitoring
- Assist with audits and special projects including sales/use tax audits and cost analysis
Technical Overview
The role is accounting-focused with strong spreadsheet and reporting capabilities, including Advanced MS Excel and potential Power BI/BI tooling. It also requires working knowledge of ERP systems and the ability to produce schedules supporting monthly outlooks, Annual Plan (AP), and Long Range Plan (LRP).
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level to early-career Staff Accountant with 1-3 years of Accounting or Finance experience, strong general ledger skills, and the ability to prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations. They are highly proficient in MS Excel, able to work with ERP systems and business intelligence tools like Power BI, and comfortable supporting monthly outlooks plus the Annual Plan (AP) and Long Range Plan (LRP) processes.
