Staff Accountant at Sundays For Dogs supports month-end close, revenue and COGS, inventory management, and internal controls for an ecommerce brand, leveraging ERP systems to scale accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, prepaids, revenue, COGS, inventory adjustments
Detailed balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end close
Assist with revenue recognition and subscription activity
Maintain fixed assets, depreciation, and prepaid expenses

Technical Overview

U.S. GAAP, revenue recognition, deferred revenue, inventory & COGS, ERP systems (NetSuite/QuickBooks Online), Excel for analysis, automation and system integrations

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on staff accountant with 3-6+ years of experience in ecommerce or consumer products, strong US GAAP knowledge, inventory and COGS expertise, and proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP.

Must-Have Skills
