Staff Data Engineer to design and maintain robust data models and pipelines for analytics across SoFi Financial Services products.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop robust data models and pipelines to support data ingestion, processing, storage, and retrieval
Evaluate and select technologies to build scalable data infrastructure
Optimize data engineering systems for large-scale datasets
Enforce data governance and security measures
Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders

Technical Overview

Expertise with Snowflake and SQL-based data warehousing, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), and data orchestration tools (Airflow, DBT); strong data modeling, governance, and security practices; experience with large-scale fintech data environments.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a lead data engineer with 8+ years of experience building scalable data pipelines in a fintech environment, strong SQL skills, and expertise with Snowflake and cloud data platforms.
