About this role
Remote staff pharmacist to provide routine and emergency drug screening, information, processing, and dispensing services for LTC facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Initial review of new orders input by technicians against prescriptions
- Verify orders for appropriate dosage; reviewing reports on drug interactions and duplicate therapy
- Consulting with medical professionals on patient therapies and outcomes
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and pharmacy interns as required
- Data entry of orders when necessary; Assists the billing department
