Buyers Edge Platform is hiring a Staff Product Designer to set strategic UX direction for its enterprise restaurant back office platform. The role focuses on cohesive platform-level UX across accounting, payroll, inventory, food cost, and AP automation modules while scaling a design system for enterprise complexity.

Key Responsibilities

Set strategic UX direction for Back Office as a cohesive platform
Scale the design system for enterprise complexity (permissions, bulk operations, data tables)
Identify and resolve systemic design challenges (navigation, duplicated workflows, information architecture)
Partner with product and engineering leadership to shape product strategy and roadmap
Lead initiatives spanning multiple product areas, including reporting and integrations

Technical Overview

This is a systems-level UX role for a SaaS product, requiring design of data flows, unified reporting patterns, role-based permissions, and integration states across multiple modules. The designer will partner with product and engineering leadership to drive platform thinking and roadmap decisions.
