About this role

This role supports Operations Accounting by preparing and recording operational-related financial information, maintaining monthly accounting close activities, and driving forecast updates. The position also leads monthly cash forecasting inputs used by Treasury and supports operational cost analysis for liquefaction facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calculate and input monthly accrual and correction/adjustment journal entries in Oracle ERP system
  • Assist with monthly analyses comparing actual vs. budget/forecasted balances
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations for accounts assigned
  • Assist in forecasting and analysis of project and departmental costs using Hyperion forecasting database
  • Lead monthly cash forecasting through cash requests and monthly cash draw documentation used by Treasury

Technical Overview

Performs monthly accrual and correction/adjustment journal entries in Oracle ERP, executes reconciliations, analyzes actual vs budget/forecast balances, and updates financial forecasts using Hyperion forecasting database. Supports cash forecasting through cash requests and monthly cash draw documentation.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior accountant with strong US GAAP financial accounting experience, including monthly accruals, journal entry processing, and account reconciliations. They have hands-on forecasting experience using Hyperion forecasting database and can support cash forecasting, treasury documentation, and operational cost analysis for large industrial operations.

Must-Have Skills
