Staff Software Engineer role (Amazon Connect remote) focused on leading the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud-based contact center solutions using Amazon Connect. Key Responsibilities

Lead design and development of native Agent Workspace desktop views and third party applications
Implement Customer Profiles-driven screen pops and contextual agent views
Integrate real-time enterprise/LOB APIs using AWS services such as Amazon Lex, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, and Amazon Kinesis
Optimize UI performance for low-latency agent experiences
Ensure secure, compliant handling of customer and PII data and troubleshoot AWS service issues

Technical Overview

Lead Amazon Connect agent workspace development using Customer Profiles-driven screen pops and real-time API integrations. Use AWS services including Amazon Lex, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, Amazon Kinesis, and core platform components like API Gateway, DynamoDB, EventBridge, CloudWatch, SQS, and AWS KMS, with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

The ideal candidate is a highly experienced AWS-focused engineer with 8+ years in software development and cloud computing and deep expertise in Amazon Connect. They can lead design and development of native agent workspace views and third-party applications, implement Customer Profiles-driven screen pops, and integrate real-time enterprise/LOB APIs. They bring strong AWS service knowledge (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EventBridge, CloudWatch, SQS, KMS, S3), are proficient with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, and hold an AWS certification.
