About this role
Store Manager is responsible for all aspects of store operations, leading the entire store team to meet Company standards and best practices. The role manages payroll and scheduling, oversees stockroom/front end/sales floor operations, and develops leadership and associate teams to deliver sales and profit results while controlling expenses.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the entire operation of the Store to ensure Company standards and best practices
- Manage Stockroom, Front End, and Sales Floor operations including receiving and merchandise flow
- Analyze Store reports for controllable expenses and overall store performance
- Handle payroll administration including daily punch edits, Sunday payroll transmission, and Payroll reporting
- Recruit, hire, train and develop Assistant Managers, Area Supervisors and non-exempt Associates while reducing store turnover
Technical Overview
This role focuses on operational analytics via store reports and execution of best practices to manage productivity and expenses. It uses reporting and operational controls processes rather than technical systems.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced retail Store Manager who can lead all aspects of store operations and consistently meet Company standards and best practices. They have strong leadership depth (developing assistant managers, supervisors, and associates), experience managing payroll administration and scheduling compliance, and a proven ability to analyze store performance through store reports and control expenses to drive sales and profit results.
