About this role
Responsible for all aspects of store operations, leading the entire store to ensure consistent achievement of Company standards and best practices. The role manages people (recruiting, hiring, training, developing leadership and associates) and core store functions including Stockroom, Front End, and Sales Floor operations, while managing payroll and expenses.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads all Company Best Practices and maximizes productivity
- Analyzes store reports to evaluate controllable expenses and store performance
- Ensures proper scheduling and manages payroll administration
- Recruits, hires, trains and develops Assistant Managers, Area Supervisors and Associates
- Manages Stockroom, Front End, and Sales Floor operations to ensure merchandise flow and proper receiving
Technical Overview
Primarily retail operations and people management with structured execution of operational best practices. Includes operational reporting review, scheduling, and payroll administration (punch edits, transmission, and reporting) to maintain store performance and compliance.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced retail Store Manager who can lead day-to-day store operations end-to-end, ensuring Company Best Practices and consistent performance. They have strong payroll administration experience (including punch edits and payroll transmission), manage associate scheduling, and demonstrate a track record of recruiting, training, and developing leadership teams to improve sales, profit, and retention.
