About this role
This role is responsible for all aspects of store operations, leading the entire store to ensure company standards and best practices are consistently met. The Store Manager staffs, trains, and develops leadership and associates, and manages key store areas including the Stockroom, Front End, and Sales Floor while controlling expenses.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of store operations to meet company standards and best practices
- Train, develop, and manage leadership team, Assistant Managers, Area Supervisors, and non-exempt Associates
- Manage Stockroom, Front End, and Sales Floor operations to ensure timely merchandise flow and proper receiving
- Analyze store reports to evaluate controllable expenses and overall store performance; take action on variances
- Manage payroll administration (daily punch edits, associate scheduling compliance, Sunday payroll transmission, payroll reporting) and ensure proper associate scheduling
