About this role
The Store Manager Candidate supports the Store Manager with the day-to-day implementation of store processes including employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, stocking and receiving, paperwork, and overall store needs. The role is intended to help develop an external candidate for the Store Manager position for a limited period.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in recruiting and staffing activities
- Assist with store merchandising (staging, stocking, storage, fixtures, signing and pricing)
- Assist with inventory management (damages, markdowns, register scanning, paperwork, facility controls)
- Follow ordering practices to meet or exceed in-stock targets
- Operate store in store manager's absence
