Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager Candidate to support the Store Manager with store operations including staffing, inventory management, ordering, merchandising, and paperwork. This position is intended to develop an external candidate for the Store Manager role for a limited period.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with recruiting and staffing activities
- Support merchandising, staging, stocking, and presentation
- Assist with inventory management and execution of damages/markdowns and register scanning
- Follow ordering practices to meet or exceed in-stock targets
- Support financial integrity with safe deposit, cashier accountability, and key control
