About this role
The Store Manager Candidate supports the Store Manager in executing store processes including employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, stocking and receiving, and store paperwork. This role helps develop an external candidate for the Store Manager position for a limited period.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in recruiting and staffing activities
- Assist with store merchandising and product presentation
- Manage inventory including damages, markdowns, register scanning, and facility controls
- Ensure safe deposit of company funds and maintain cash control with cashier accountability and key control
- Operate the store in the store manager's absence and review operating statements for business trends
