About this role
Dollar General Store Manager Candidate role supports the Store Manager in implementing store processes, staffing, inventory, and merchandising; held for a limited period to develop an external candidate for the Store Manager role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in recruiting and staffing activities
- Assist with store merchandising and stocking
- Assist in inventory management and damages, markdowns, scanning, paperwork and facility controls
- Follow prescribed ordering practices to meet the in-stock targets
- Provide customer service leadership and operate store in the manager's absence
