About this role
Store Manager Candidate role supporting the Store Manager in all store processes including employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, stocking and receiving, paperwork and store needs. This position develops an external candidate for the Store Manager role for a limited period.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in recruiting and staffing activities
- Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, stocking, and merchandising
- Provide superior customer service leadership
- Open/close store; ensure cash control and bank deposits
- Review operating statements for trends and opportunities
Technical Overview
Retail operations focus including staff recruitment, inventory and merchandising, cash handling and security, and compliance with SOPs; requires familiarity with IBM cash registers and basic POS reporting.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level retail store manager candidate with strong staffing, inventory control, and merchandising capabilities, able to lead a team and manage opening/closing shifts while maintaining cash controls and customer service standards.
