About this role
The Store Manager Candidate supports the Store Manager by helping implement store processes, including employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and store paperwork needs. The role is designed to build readiness for an external candidate to progress into the Store Manager role for a limited period.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in recruiting and staffing activities
- Support store merchandising and merchandise presentation
- Help execute inventory management including damages, markdowns, and register scanning
- Follow ordering practices to meet or exceed in-stock targets
- Participate in store opening/closing and support safe deposit, cashier accountability, and key control
