About this role
The Store Manager for CHEF'STORE is responsible for total store operations, including financial performance, expense control, and achievement of sales and profitability goals. The role builds a superior customer service culture, enforces loss prevention and inventory SOP controls, recruits and develops employees, and monitors POS auto replenishment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a store culture focused on outside sales calls and superior customer service
- Manage monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) and assist with Annual Operating Plan (AOP) budgeting
- Implement strict inventory standard operating procedures (SOPs) and cash/check/credit controls
- Ensure loss prevention compliance and perform Manager-on-duty functions
- Monitor Point of Sale (POS) auto replenishment and coordinate support with IT team
Technical Overview
Operational technology scope is primarily Point of Sale (POS) management, including monitoring the auto replenishment function to ensure correct products and quantities are delivered on time. The role also relies on structured business planning processes: Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) performance management.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior retail store leader who owns Profit and Loss (P&L) performance and leads execution of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP). They have strong loss prevention and inventory SOP control experience, monitor Point of Sale (POS) auto replenishment, and provide a high-service customer culture while recruiting, training, and developing store employees.
