About this role
Lead and manage all store operations at Dollar General, ensuring effective planning and execution of processes across ordering, receiving, stocking, merchandising, selling, staffing, and support. You will recruit, train, evaluate employees, and maintain inventory accuracy while controlling shrink and expenses.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, select and retain qualified employees; Provide proper training and performance evaluations
- Ensure store is properly staffed and opened/closed daily
- Evaluate operating statements and control expenses and shrink
- Order and manage in-stock targets with Basic Stock Replenishment (BSR)/cycle counts
- Maintain inventory accuracy via damages, markdowns, scanning, paperwork, and facility controls
