About this role
Dollar General Store Ops Manager (Reporting and Analytics) delivers financial and operational analysis on store operations projects, with weekly/monthly reporting, metric trending, data-mining, and development of business cases. The role supports ad hoc analyses and improves the reporting knowledge base for field operators and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage operations-related decision-support projects
- Provide analytical and reporting support to the Board and executives
- Design and maintain complex financial/operational models
- Create, present and gain buy-in on business cases
- Lead ad hoc analyses and coordinate with management across levels
Technical Overview
Focus on building complex financial and operational models, data-mining, and reporting using 1010data and spreadsheet tools to support senior management decisions; requires collaboration across store operations and field teams.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-to-senior level data & analytics professional with 3+ years in retail analytics, strong data modeling and business-case development skills, and a track record of working with executives.
