About this role
Student Production Associate supports high-speed manufacturing operations, performing manual and mechanical tasks, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring quality and safety standards in a Whitby production facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Complies with safety practices and policies
- Performs troubleshooting on production equipment
- Inputs data on computer terminal to identify, label, and palletize finished products
- Conducts inspection of in-process or finished product
- Replenishes supplies and performs housekeeping
Technical Overview
Uses hand and power tools, inputs data, inspects products, and adheres to SOP and SQF requirements in a high-speed plant
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mechanically inclined student with strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced high-speed production environment. They should be comfortable using hand/power tools, reading/writing technical instructions, and collaborating with a team.
