About this role
AI/ML Research Intern to prototype and analyze LLM applications, integrating real-world data and tools, and contributing to research discussions and code reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Prototype tool-augmented LLM workflows using LangChain and investigate MCP for scalable AI applications
- Conduct experiments on model behavior, interpretability, and alignment
- Integrate structured and unstructured data sources into LLM pipelines using vector databases and embedding models
- Collaborate with researchers to explore agentic reasoning and model transparency
- Communicate findings through presentations, reports, and internal documentation
Technical Overview
Hands-on ML with PyTorch/TensorFlow/JAX; experience with LangChain and MCP is a plus; work with LLMs, vector databases, and embedding models in a research setting.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a motivated AI/ML intern with strong foundations in ML frameworks, practical experience with LangChain or similar, and a curiosity for tool-augmented reasoning and MCP in a federally-focused research setting.
