About this role

This Summer Safety Intern role supports the Corporate Safety Director with safety program development, safety training initiatives, and safety improvement projects. The intern will gain exposure to industrial safety programs, hazard recognition, and safety management systems while assisting with safety data analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with special projects supporting corporate safety initiatives; Assist with development and updates to corporate safety procedures and programs; Support development of safety training materials and learning resources; Assist with safety data analysis and reporting; Assist with safety training development, safety program reviews, and safety data analysis
Support safety improvement projects

Technical Overview

The technical scope is centered on supporting corporate safety procedures/programs, developing safety training materials, and performing safety data analysis and reporting. Work also includes assisting with safety program reviews and projects related to corporate safety initiatives.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a safety-focused intern who can support corporate safety programming under the Corporate Safety Director. They are comfortable assisting with hazard recognition, safety training development, and analyzing/reporting safety data to support safety improvement initiatives.
