Supervisor - Accounting

ONEOK is seeking a Gas Plant Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily, monthly, and quarterly accounting for Natural Gas Gathering and Processing settlement contracts. The role includes reviewing contracts in the plant settlement system, supporting plant closing, preparing variance explanations, and partnering with auditors and management reporting.

• Supervise and review daily accounting work (journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements)
• Oversee plant settlement cycle and review theoreticals and imbalance analyses
• Support month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare and review variance explanations and management reporting
• Coordinate internal/external audits and provide documentation

This is a plant settlement accounting leadership role requiring deep GAAP knowledge, Sarbanes-Oxley/SOX internal controls, and strong contract interpretation for percentofproceeds, feebased, and TIK agreements. The supervisor will manage accounting processes, system support, audit documentation, and continuous improvement efforts, with required proficiency in Waterfield and/or TIPS.

The ideal candidate is an accounting leader with strong plant settlement and natural gas gathering and processing experience, including monthly and quarterly accounting responsibilities. They are well-versed in GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley/SOX internal controls, can interpret complex contract terms, and are proficient with Waterfield and/or TIPS while mentoring accounting staff.
