About this role
Supervisor, Freight Payment oversees auditing and processing of freight payments for Transportation expenses, ensuring compliance with Transportation rates, contracts, policies, and Corporate Sarbanes Oxley requirements. The role leads a team of freight pay specialists and partners with Finance, Transportation, vendors, and carriers to resolve freight bill and invoice issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee proper internal controls over freight payment for all Transportation expenses
- Lead and develop a team of freight pay specialists for payment, reconciliation and auditing of Transportation invoices
- Ensure invoices are processed timely and monitor invoice aging with vendor follow-up
- Investigate and resolve accounting issues relating to freight bill payment and auditing of freight bills
- Work with Transportation to ensure invoices are paid based on latest Ross Transportation rates, contracts and policies
