About this role
Supervisor in PG&E's Power Generation Department overseeing hydroelectric projects. Responsible for scope, scheduling, cost, and risk management with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance in a hybrid work environment with travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Report project scope, schedule, cost and risk management information to manager, stakeholders
- Participate in inter-department meetings to improve processes and efficiency
- Reviews engineering design packages for QA/QC validations ensuring compliance with guidelines
- Provides project scope, scheduling, cost, and risk information to project management and representatives
- Direct supervision, staffing, training, coaching, and mentoring to ESC employees
Technical Overview
Emphasis on engineering project management for large-scale hydro systems; uses WBS and Earned Value management; requires PE license and strong MS Office and database skills; travel up to 40%.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced power-generation project manager with a PE license and 5+ years of engineering/project coordination experience. They excel in scheduling, risk and cost management, and cross-functional leadership to deliver large hydro projects safely and efficiently.
