About this role
The Supplier Support Specialist supports Univar Solutions’ Margin Management team by maintaining vendor cost support in SAP and investigating margin issues. The role also coordinates contract-related activities, audits vendor contracts for compliance, and creates reports and training materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain vendor cost support through SAP software
- Investigate margin issues related to cost support with the Margin Analyst
- Proactively identify expiring supplier cost support contracts and reduce aged balances
- Assist with vendor rebates and execute cost support strategies and contracts
- Audit vendor contracts to ensure compliance and create reports
Technical Overview
This role is centered on SAP-based vendor cost support and margin management workflows, supported by Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). It includes contract compliance auditing and reporting for internal stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an early-career supplier support or margin support professional with 1-2 years of relevant experience and strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
