Amazon Logistics Production Planning is seeking a Supply Chain Manager II to develop and execute innovative last mile delivery network improvements. The role builds labor planning models, analytics/data pipelines, and reporting solutions to optimize capacity and execution while working closely with delivery station leaders and labor/workforce partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strategic labor planning models and manage labor/scheduling resources
- Build analytics and data pipelines to enable optimization and predictive science
- Communicate with Delivery Station Leaders to determine capacity needs from the flexible labor pool
- Integrate labor planning and execute labor orders with workforce partners
- Design and maintain metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to drive decisions
Technical Overview
This is a data-and-operations planning role centered on data mining, modeling, building analytics and data pipelines, and applying optimization and predictive science concepts. The manager designs reporting solutions and dashboards, ensures data integrity, and runs experiments to improve key output metrics.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level supply chain/program planning professional with 3+ years of program/project management and cross-functional experience with both tech and non-tech teams. They build labor planning models, develop analytics/data pipelines for optimization and predictive science, and deliver reporting solutions (including dashboards) to improve last mile delivery network efficiency.
