Position Details
About this role
Operate and manage multiple heavy equipment in a mining/production setting, perform safety inspections, and assist with training of other operators while maintaining road and site maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including haul trucks, water trucks, dozers, and loaders
- Perform pre-shift inspections
- Implement safety procedures (LOTOTO/Blue Stake)
- Assist with training and mentoring other operators
- Conduct road building and trenching tasks as required
Technical Overview
Hands-on operation of mining heavy equipment; adherence to safety protocols (LOTO/Blue Stake); dispatch communications and basic maintenance tasks.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an early-career heavy equipment operator with at least six months of mobile equipment experience, capable of safely operating multiple machine types, training teammates, and performing basic inspections.
