About this role

The Milieu Manager provides supervision and oversight of Mental Health Technicians, ensures compliance with hospital policies, and maintains a therapeutic milieu for patients.

Key Responsibilities

Promotes a culture of positivity and unit staff; demonstrates boundary setting; role models milieu management; ensures hygiene and milieu presence; communicates with Director of Patient Services and RN Educator

Technical Overview

Oversees unit programming, staff development, crisis intervention, and daily operations; collaborates with nursing leadership and HR to maintain safety and quality of care.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mid- to senior-level milieu manager with 2+ years of psychiatric inpatient experience, strong leadership and crisis intervention capabilities, and a track record of staff development.

Must-Have Skills
