About this role
Backshift construction supervisor directs craft personnel in the construction, operation and maintenance of overhead and/or underground electric facilities, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable service.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and direct craft employees engaged in the execution of scheduled and emergent work activities
- Provide leadership to craft workforce
- Coordinate emergency response and on-call coverage
- Manage departmental budgets
- Ensure safety and productivity
Technical Overview
Experience with electrical facility construction/maintenance, CBAs, safety audits, and outage/restoration operations; strong leadership and budgeting skills.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced utility construction supervisor with 4-7 years in utilities and 2-3 years of supervisory experience, strong leadership and safety knowledge, and a valid driver’s license to oversee overhead and underground electrical facilities.
