About this role

Backshift construction supervisor directs craft personnel in the construction, operation and maintenance of overhead and/or underground electric facilities, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable service.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and direct craft employees engaged in the execution of scheduled and emergent work activities
Provide leadership to craft workforce
Coordinate emergency response and on-call coverage
Manage departmental budgets
Ensure safety and productivity

Technical Overview

Experience with electrical facility construction/maintenance, CBAs, safety audits, and outage/restoration operations; strong leadership and budgeting skills.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an experienced utility construction supervisor with 4-7 years in utilities and 2-3 years of supervisory experience, strong leadership and safety knowledge, and a valid driver’s license to oversee overhead and underground electrical facilities.
