SVP, Enterprise Data Strategy

This role leads and executes the company’s enterprise data strategy as a strategic asset. The SVP sets the vision and operating model for data governance, architecture, and data quality while ensuring regulatory compliance and enabling data-driven decision making.

• Develop and own enterprise-wide data value chain and data lifecycle strategy
• Establish and sustain business-owned data governance, guardrails, accountability, and stewardship
• Own alignment of enterprise data architecture with business strategy and scalable infrastructure
• Define and oversee enterprise data quality standards, lineage, metadata management, and KPIs
• Ensure enterprise data practices comply with global regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, Solvency II)

The position owns enterprise data governance, data architecture/infrastructure alignment, and enterprise data quality standards including lineage and metadata management. It also establishes policy, privacy practices, measurable KPIs, and remediation processes to support deployment of secure, trusted data across the organization.

The ideal candidate is an executive-level data leader who has owned enterprise data strategy, including data governance, data architecture, and data quality programs. They should have deep experience translating regulatory and business needs into measurable data policies, KPIs, and an operating model across underwriting, pricing, claims, and portfolio management.
